It's true that our shoppers are as varied as the items that line our shelves. Families, college kids, single parents, savvy professionals - our stores are filled with a potpourri of people at any given time.

But there's one thing our shoppers have in common: you're passionate about getting a great deal.

And what good is finding a great deal if you can't rub it in other peoples' faces - er...share your bargain hunting prowess with others, so that they too might experience a great shopping adventure?

Well, far be it from us to stop you! Here are a few of your stories.

 "I love thrift shopping in the US, but thrifting in Canada seems even better because of the exchange rate! The best deal we've found was last March, when all the winter clothes were on sale for half price. My friend found a hat, glove and scarf set marked $1. It was half off that, and if you calculate in the exchange rate, she paid about $0.30US for it! I found a really nice brown coat, an authentic Scottish kilt and a Cat in the Hat stovepipe hat...

I paid about $4.50US for all three!

Total savings: $ 133.00.

In the next two weeks I found a silk midriff ruffled blouse and a pair of
boots to go with it. I even found a stunning pair of earrings. 

Total cost for my outfit: less than $ 30.00. That left enough for my husband
and I to go out dancing for our anniversary, so I got a chance to wear it.
He said he'd propose all over again!
